Napp Expert

Napp Expert keeps retail product catalogs in sync with Google Merchant Center. Each retailer connects their own Merchant Center account, and Napp Expert publishes and keeps that retailer's product data up to date — product, price, availability and per-store inventory — with no spreadsheet exports and no duplicate data entry.

What Napp Expert does

• Receives the retailer's catalog: product, price and availability.
• Receives per-store inventory, so products can be advertised as available in a physical store.
• Publishes and updates that data in the retailer's own Google Merchant Center account.
• Reprocesses what Google rejects and records the reason, instead of dropping it silently.

Napp Expert is a product by Napp Solutions, used by its retail customers. It is not a consumer app.

Getting access

Napp Expert is provided by Napp Solutions to contracted retailers; there is no self-service signup on this page. To start using it:

1. Contact Napp Solutions at guilherme@nappsolutions.com, and we set up your account.
2. You grant Napp Expert access to your own Google Merchant Center account through Google's consent screen.
3. Your catalog starts syncing, and whatever Google rejects comes back with the reason.

Why Napp Expert asks for access to your Google account

To publish a catalog, Napp Expert needs permission to write product and inventory data into the retailer's own Google Merchant Center account. That is the only reason we ask for Google account access, and we request two scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content — read and write the products and local inventory of the Merchant Center account the retailer authorizes.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email — the email address of the Google account that granted the authorization, and nothing else from the profile. It is what identifies which Google account is connected: it is shown back to the retailer on the confirmation page, so a wrong account is caught immediately, and it is what our audit record names when someone asks months later who connected this Merchant Center account.

What we do with it: publish and update that retailer's catalog in that retailer's own Merchant Center account, and read back what Google rejected so the retailer can see why.

What we do not do: we do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising and do not use it to train models. The only parties that receive it are Google Cloud, which hosts the service, and the Google Merchant API, which is where the retailer asked us to publish — never any other third party. Nothing is published into accounts the retailer does not own.

Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions; catalog delivery stops when it is. What data we handle, where it is stored and how it is deleted is in our Privacy Policy. Service conditions are in our Terms of Service.
